Information we collect
We may collect your name, email, phone number, ZIP code, service address when needed for a booked repair, appliance type, brand, model and serial number, appliance age, replacement value you provide, problem descriptions, error codes, photos or videos you choose to upload, booking information, payment-related information processed through our payment provider, and communications with MendSetGo.
How we use information
We use information to determine service availability, assess likely appliance faults, provide repair options and pricing, support parts compatibility checks, arrange repairs, process transactions, provide warranty and customer support, prevent misuse, and improve our diagnostic and customer experience.
Diagnostic improvement
We may create de-identified or aggregated repair records, such as appliance model, symptom, diagnosis, repair action, part and outcome, to improve MendSetGo’s diagnostic methods and service quality. We do not need names, direct contact information or street addresses for this purpose.
Who receives information
We may share only the information reasonably necessary with service professionals, parts suppliers, payment processors, cloud hosting/storage providers, analytics providers and other vendors that help operate MendSetGo. We do not sell personal information as a standalone product.
Photos and videos
Appliance photos and videos may contain information beyond the appliance itself. Please avoid including people, documents, addresses or other unnecessary personal information in uploads. Secure upload storage must be enabled before the public pilot accepts files.
Retention and security
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for service delivery, accounting, legal, warranty, dispute-resolution and product-improvement purposes. We use reasonable administrative and technical measures designed to protect information, but no system can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices
You may contact us to request access, correction or deletion of personal information where applicable. Certain transaction, warranty, fraud-prevention or legal records may need to be retained.
Children
MendSetGo is not directed to children under 13.
