Preliminary diagnosis

MendSetGo uses the information you submit to provide a preliminary assessment of likely appliance faults. An online assessment is not a guarantee that a stated cause, part or repair will ultimately be correct. Exact model information and the physical condition of the appliance can affect the final diagnosis.

Firm repair quotes

When MendSetGo has sufficient diagnostic confidence, it may display a firm quote for the diagnosed repair. The quote applies to the stated repair scope and for the stated validity period. If inspection reveals that the appliance has a materially different fault, additional failed components, unsafe conditions or information not reasonably identifiable from the intake, MendSetGo will disclose any proposed change in scope or price before additional paid work proceeds.

DIY information and safety

DIY information is intended only for basic consumer-appropriate checks. Do not perform live electrical testing, gas work, refrigerant/sealed-system work, defeat safety devices, or undertake work beyond your training and appliance manual. Stop if you are uncertain or conditions appear unsafe.

Parts

Any suggested part must be checked against the exact appliance model before purchase or installation. Parts may be sold by third-party suppliers whose pricing, availability, shipping, returns and warranties are governed by their own terms.

Repair-vs-replace guidance

Any recommendation about whether repair appears economical is decision support based on information such as the quoted repair price, age and replacement value you provide. MendSetGo does not guarantee future useful life, resale value, energy performance or absence of future failures.

Professional repairs

Professional repair services may be performed by qualified third-party service professionals. The booking confirmation should identify the applicable scope, price, cancellation terms and warranty coverage.

User information

You are responsible for providing reasonably accurate appliance, model, symptom and contact information. Incorrect or incomplete information can affect diagnosis, parts compatibility, pricing and service availability.

Limitation relating to unauthorized work

To the extent permitted by applicable law, MendSetGo is not responsible for injury or damage resulting from unsafe, unauthorized or incorrectly performed DIY work, misuse of diagnostic information, or work performed contrary to manufacturer instructions.
