DRAFT FOR ATTORNEY REVIEW BEFORE PUBLIC LAUNCH

Repair Warranty & Cancellation Policy

Last updated: September 1, 2026

Workmanship warranty

For eligible professional repairs booked through MendSetGo, our intended Phase 0 policy is a 90-day workmanship warranty beginning on the date the covered repair is completed. If the same diagnosed issue recurs because of covered workmanship, contact MendSetGo promptly so the repair can be reviewed.

What the warranty is intended to cover

The warranty applies to the workmanship performed for the specific repair described in the booking confirmation. A replacement part may also carry a separate manufacturer or supplier warranty.

What is not covered

Coverage does not include a different or unrelated failure, normal wear, misuse, accidental or cosmetic damage, pest damage, flooding or external water damage, building plumbing or electrical faults, customer-supplied parts unless expressly accepted, unauthorized modifications, or DIY work.

Changes in diagnosis

If the actual fault is materially different from the issue on which a firm quote was based, no additional repair should proceed without disclosure of the revised scope and price and your approval.

Cancellation before dispatch

Our intended Phase 0 policy is to allow cancellation without a MendSetGo service charge before a service professional has been dispatched and before a special-order or non-returnable part has been authorized.

Cancellation after dispatch or parts commitment

If a service professional has already been dispatched, or if you approved a special-order/non-returnable part, an applicable charge may apply. Any such charge should be clearly disclosed before booking or part authorization.

How to request warranty service

Email support@mendsetgo.com with your job number, appliance/model and description of the recurring issue.

This policy is an operating draft and should be reviewed by New Jersey counsel before accepting paid consumer transactions.
